The Tyranny of Occam’s Razor

A man, average build and covered in second- and third-degree burns, was admitted to room 1123 in the ICU last night. This morning, however, the current occupant is a petite woman. Because that’s not weird enough, the patient has a strange, inexplicable heart murmur, exactly like the last person in this bed.

Baffled by the tiny, mysterious woman with two heartbeats and below-room-temperature skin in a hospital bed once occupied by a dying man, Andrea discovers she is very much alive and babbling nonsense about men with curly hair and bad fashion. And this woman knows her.

When confronted by a robot trying to kill the mystery person named the Doctor, who you’d like to learn more about, you must choose your weapons carefully. And you must be prepared to run.

As the Doctor’s brilliant plan (which was her companion’s idea) comes to fruition, a homicidal robot may be the least of her concerns. Lurking around the corner are three dark men, and they have credentials.

When shady government agents reveal some of the Doctor’s more disturbing secrets to Andrea, she makes her escape from the hospital. The question remains, why is the Doctor inviting her into an outhouse, probably the fanciest outhouse she’s ever seen?

Andrea has never beheld an outhouse like this. It’s allegedly a spaceship, but it appears to be cobbled together from bits and pieces of other spaceships, as well as a library and a fifties diner. Meanwhile, the Doctor puts on a fashion show.

Faced with an infinite closet filled with clothes her size, Andrea is paralyzed by her choices. The Doctor uses SCIENCE! to work out how to handle the murderous space probe. And the sentient spaceship makes a horrible sound.

With one chance to save the day, the Doctor and Andrea return to the hospital, where the Doctor attempts to save the day without her trusty sonic screwdriver, and Andrea is forced by a murderous alien probe to relive the worst parts of her life.
